These terms explain how lessons work at Time4Languages so everything runs smoothly for families and teachers.
- What We Provide
- Online French lessons for children and teens.
- Options include 1:1 lessons, small groups, and Mini French sessions.
- Lessons may be taught by May or another qualified native French teacher working with Time4Languages.
- Booking & Payments
- Lessons and packages are paid for in advance.
- A booking is confirmed once payment is received.
- Packages (5, 10, or 20 lessons) should be used within 6 months.
- Group and Mini French sessions are non-transferable to another learner.
- Cancelling or Rescheduling
- Please give at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.
- Lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice cannot be refunded.
- Missed lessons without notice cannot be rearranged.
- Group lessons follow a fixed schedule and cannot be rescheduled individually.
- If a Teacher Cancels
- If we need to cancel, we will reschedule your lesson at no extra cost.
- In rare cases where lessons cannot continue (e.g., illness), unused lessons may be refunded.
- Technical Issues (Fair & Balanced)
- If your child has technical difficulties, you receive one complimentary reschedule per term (around 12 weeks).
- After this, repeated issues may mean the lesson cannot be refunded.
- If Time4Languages or the teacher has technical issues, the lesson will be rescheduled or extended.
- Expectations During Lessons
- Students should behave respectfully and be ready to learn.
- A quiet, safe space is required for lessons.
- An adult must be present in the home for under-18s.
- Lessons may not be recorded without permission.
- Refunds
- Once a package has started, refunds are normally not given.
- Before the first lesson, unused packages may be refunded at our discretion.
- Missed lessons, late cancellations, and repeated technical issues cannot be refunded.
- Privacy
- We keep your information safe and only use it to arrange lessons.
- We never share personal information with third parties.

- Changes to These Terms
- If the terms change, we will update the document and notify parents when necessary.
